A real challenge
Vlex is one of the largest online legal dabases with over 50 milion documents in 13 languages serving 43.116 clients in 133 countries.
Vlex commissioned Mortensen the redesign of the usability and visual design of the website.
Work had to be done step by step while the site was still online and operative. We started by small changes in the inner pages with A/B user tests to measure their impact.
Once changes were accepted by the user base they were deployed to the rest of the site eventually reaching the homepage.

Mail notifications
Tag collections allows users to easily get email notifications when they get updated.
Document preview
The document showed a preview on a printed style plus an access to the full document, downloadable on a set of formats or visible directly on the browser.
Translations
All the documents are available in various languages using the Google Translate API.
Trial access
We were also asked to design a campaign based on a trial access to the full vLex library.
